There are a lot of crazy diets out there. The best way to achieve your goals is to adapt a healthy lifestyle utilizing a balanced diet of “real healthy foods”.

Real foods not diet foods are more satisfying and have a higher nutritional content.
Eating too few calories can be just as bad as eating too many
Calories should be distributed throughout the day. Small healthy meals are ideal.

Eat plenty of fruits, veggies, and whole grains

Eat 2 servings of dairy a day (low fat yogurt, cheese, or milk)

Consume lean chicken or meats. (Avoid dark meat, chicken skin, or fatty meats)

Consume healthy fats (flaxseed oil, olive oil, avocado, and salmon)

Drink lots of water

Keep a food log. If you have to write it down, you’re more likely to eat healthier.

Exercise and nutrition together will help you reach your goals faster than either one alone.
